Monrovia is in Morgan County, just south of I70, southeast of Indianapolis.

Among those who have called Monrovia home include John Standeford (former Purdue and NFL wide receiver), IndyCar legend Gary Bettenhausen, Hall of Fame basketball coach Branch McCracken and best of all - a bunch of people we call our friends and family.

Monrovia was named after the olde European nation of the same name.

Congratulations go to the Monrovia High School Band, the Bulldog Brigade. In 2006 the 'dogs won the Mid-States Band Association Class A Championships. The school also won a state championship in Academic Super Bowl Competition in 1988.  Otherwise, it's a pretty quiet little town - a great place to make a home and find friends - yet it's close enough to everything that big city of Indianapolis has to offer.
