You're thinking of selling your home. We're thinking that you're thinking ...

What's my home worth? How much can I sell it for?

Yes, we can read your mind.

It's always difficult to determine what your home is worth. Market conditions, location and your home's condition all have a big impact. So how do you decide what is the highest price that will sell your home the fastest?

When you talk with a Realtor(r), you should be presented with what we call a "Comparative Market Analysis" or a "CMA." It's a professional way of saying here's what your home's worth. A CMA is a comparison of your home to those recently sold and currently for sale in your neighborhood, or similar homes outside your neighborhood.

If you've seen most agents' CMAs, you know they look like a legal document and are as understandable as a Chinese newspaper that was left out in the rain. If you haven't seer a CMA, they look like a legal document and are as understandable as a Chinese newspaper that was left out in the rain.

Today, however, you have an option. Carpenter Realtors(r) provides all of its agents with a new, cloud-based CMA program that doesn't look like a legal document and is as understandable as a Chinese newspaper that was left out in the rain, being read to you - in English.

Our CloudCMA is complete and easy-to-understand(!). It pulls together all possible "comps" for your home, presenting them with complete details and all their photos, both for currently on sale and for sold homes. You can quickly understand the differences between your home and others, how that affects values and why your Carpenter agent suggests the pricing options they present. Even better, we know you've been to Zillow or another national website to see what they think your home is worth. Just admit it - you've checked it out. Carpenter's CMA includes the zestimates for all those, showing Zillow pricing side-by-side against the listing or selling price. You'll see that Zillow has correctly named the zestimates - they are simply estimates.
