Landlocked in beautiful central Indiana, Shelbyville is midway between Indianapolis and Cincinnati just off I-74. Oddly, the Indiana town is named after the first governor of Kentucky, Isaac Shelby. Might say something about the first settlers, eh? It was started as a trading center and incorporated into a town in 1850.
