As Jeff Risley takes a drive through downtown, he can't help but think back to all the great times he's had in life.  In fact, it was the weekly drives into town with his mother and grandmother that he remembers most fondly.  While his mother and grandmother would run errands, they would always give hin a dollar to buy something.

Traditions Formed
    Jeff attributes his modern day passion for collecting to his days growing up.  "I'd always take that dollar and either buy books or comic books.  I gathered quite a few over the years", he says.  Afterwards we'd go to the drug store for chocolate sodas.  It sounds like a scene straight out of  'Happy Days,' but to me these classic memories are just the way life was in the Indianapolis area."

     Jeff's not much into comic books these days. His favorite items to collect are Wedgewood souvenir plates, Dept. 56 houses, Santa Claus figures, rare American coins, die cast antique cars and even tie tacks.  Those who know Jeff  best will tell you his hobby is a reflection of his approach to life in general. Once he starts something, he won't stop until his goal is complete, whether it's searching for the right piece to add to a collection or making a difference in his community.
