Located between County Roads East 100 & 200 North, west of Dan Jones Road & east of State Road 267 in Washington Township in Hendricks County Indiana. (see map below) Close to schools (Avon Community School Corp) & nearby shopping on US 36.

Forest Commons has been developed into 3 areas. The original development is just called Forest Commons and is accessed from CR E 100N (aka 10th st). The 2nd phase is known as Forest Commons North and is assessed from CR E 200N. Just east of Forest Commons North is Forest Knoll, which connects to Forest Commons North. There are no roads that connect the original development with the northern ones.

The original section was first developed in the late 1990’s and the last home built was around 2005 but there are a few remaining lots in the northern sections. Both the original and Forest Commons North are entirely custom homes from many builders with assessed values from upper $200,000s to the $500,000 range. Forest Knoll has nice production homes assessed in the upper $100,000s to $300,000 range.

Amenities include a few lakes and common areas and Forest Knoll has a community playground area. The original section was partially wooded so some sections include large mature trees from which the community was named.
