12 miles south of downtown Indianapolis is Greenwood, Indiana. Named for - we guess - something natural, it's a great town to live and raise a family in or to just have fun. Sounds pretty cliche', huh? Not for Greenwood. For fun, Greenwood has 200 acres of parks with playgrounds, ball diamonds and picnic areas, plus a swimming pool, community center and more. The near-to-Indy suburb also has entertainment, restaurants and the regional Greenwood Park Mall for any kind of shopping. Greenwood has a community band, an art institute and two libraries.
